Cosa succede quando una grande azienda di gioielli si incontra con un ruggente scorpione? Nasce la collaborazione tra Breil e Abarth. Dalla collaborazione sono nati cinque orologi che rispecchiano l'essenza dell'auto per ricordare, ogni volta che si controlla l'orario, la classe della società Torinese. Sportività, creatività ed eleganza, è questo il motto che unisce Breil ad Abarth che ha creato questa capsule collection per un uomo sportivo, ma con classe che ama dividersi tra stile e motori. Per l'occasione, siamo stati chiamati da Breil a tracciare un percorso con i posti che siamo soliti frequentare, da raggiungere poi a bordo di una Fiat Abarth 500 C scandendo il tempo con il nostro inconfondibile tocco di stile, uno degli orologi della collezione. Per questa opportunità abbiamo deciso di fare visita alle nostre amiche di Pink & ChicCommunication, per fare poi una fermata in edicola a comprare Maxim Italy, il nostro giornale preferito, per finire poi a bere qualcosa nel nostro locale preferito, il Fashion Café. Abbinare l'orologio Breil al motore di un Abarth, significa avere buon gusto ed essere dei perfezionisti.

What happens when a large jewelry company meets with a roaring scorpion? A new collaboration between Breil and Abarth. From the collaboration were born five watches that reflect the essence of the car to remember, every time you check the time, the style of the society from Turin. Sportsmanship, creativity and elegance, this is the motto of Breil that with Abarth has created this capsule collection for a man who loves doing sports. For the occasion, we've been called from Breil for trace a path with the places that we love to visit, to be achieved then aboard a Fiat Abarth 500 C by scanning the time with our touch of style, one of the watches of the collection. For this opportunity we decided to pay a visit to our friends at Pink & Chic Communication, to then make a stop to a newsstands to buy Maxim Italy, our favorite magazine. At the end we went to take a drink to our favourite Pub, the Fashion Café. Match a Breil watch to the engine of an Abarth, it means having good taste and be a perfectionist.

Abbiamo incontrato i Kassidy a Milano in occasione del tour di Lana Del Rey per il quale sono opening act. Insieme ad Hamish Fingland (voce, chitarra) abbiamo parlato delle origini del gruppo, di musica, di Lana Del Rey e dell'Italia. Non eravate ai concerti che la cantante Americana ha tenuto in Italia e non conoscete i Kassidy? Nessun problema, qui sotto vi proponiamo due tra le nostre canzoni preferite del loro repertorio.
ICE FASHION: Come vi siete conosciuti? Quali sono le origini della band?
HAMISH FINGLAND: Ci siamo conosciuti tramite amici, e ci siamo resi conto di avere la stessa passione, fare musica. Così nel 2009 sono nati i Kassidy.
IF: Parlaci riguardo le vostre influenze
HF: E' difficile trovare un'influenza generale tenendo conto che ogni membro della band è cantautore. Tuttavia, se dovessi parlare delle mie influenze, mi vengono in mente: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Chic, Joe Cocker, Wu Tang Clan.
IF: Cosa pensate dell'Italia? VI state divertendo? Sappiamo che prima di venire a Milano, eravate a Roma e a Torino, che cosa avete fatto?
HF: Ci stiamo divertendo molto! Siamo stati a Torino a visitare il Museo Egizio e a Roma a vedere il Vaticano e il Colosseo. L'Italia è bellissima e ci sono dei posti bellissimi.
IF: Se potreste scegliere, con chi vi
piacerebbe collaborare in futuro?
HF: Ci sono svariati gruppi e persone
con cui ci piacerebbe lavorare, forse, uno su tutti i Daft Punk.
IF: Com'è lavorare con Lana Del Rey?
HF: Siamo amici di Lana da prima che
lei diventasse un volto noto, e nonostante sia diventata famosa,
rimane comunque la nostra solita amica di sempre. Ad ogni singolo
Show che apriamo, lei senza farsi vedere si mette a vedere tutto il
nostro Live, il che è incredibile perché deve prepararsi per il suo
di Spettacolo.

We met the Kassidy in Milan during the tour of Lana Del Rey for which they are the opening act. Together with Hamish Fingland (vocals, guitar) we talked about the origins of the band, music, Lana Del Rey and Italy. You were not at the shows that the American singer done in Italy and you don't know who they are? No problem, we propose below two of our favorite songs from them.
ICE FASHION: How did you meet eachother? How was this band born?
HAMISH FINGLAND: We met through friends, and we realized that we have the same passion, making music. So in the 2009 the Kassidy are born.
IF: Tell us about your influences?
HF: It's hard to find an influence for all the group, because each member of the band is singer-songwriter. However, if I had to talk about my influences are: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Chic, Joe Cocker, Wu Tang Clan.
IF: Do you like Italy? What have you done in Rome and Turin?
HF: We're having so much fun! We went to visit the Turin's Egyptian Museum and in Rome we went to see the Vatican and the Colosseum. Italy is so beautiful and there are some very beautiful places.
IF: If you could choose, who would like to collaborate with in the future?
HF: There are several groups with we would like to work with, perhaps, maybe the Daft Punk are the good ones.
IF: How is working with Lana?
HF: We are friends of Lana from before she Became famous, and it remains our usual everyday friend. For each show that we open, she came backstage to see all of the show, which is amazing because she has to prepare for her show.
