Il bianco e il nero i colori principali della prossima stagione secondo il marchio che sposa il tessuto classico degli abiti con quello più sofisticato della pelle o del neoprene.Un passo coraggioso per la Maison che ha deciso di vestire i suoi uomini come se fosse inverno. Sarà quindi un estate tanto fredda? Diesel sembra pensarla così.
Futuristic and attentive to details. And that's the motto that Andreas Melbostad has chosen for the Spring Summer 2014 signed Diesel Black Gold. The white and black are the main colors of the upcoming season according to the brand that mix the classic fabric of the clothes with leather and neoprene. A bold step for the Maison has decided to dress his men as if it were winter. Will be a summer so cold? Diesel seems to think so.
Abbiamo incontrato i Kassidy a Milano in occasione del tour di Lana Del Rey per il quale sono opening act. Insieme ad Hamish Fingland (voce, chitarra) abbiamo parlato delle origini del gruppo, di musica, di Lana Del Rey e dell'Italia. Non eravate ai concerti che la cantante Americana ha tenuto in Italia e non conoscete i Kassidy? Nessun problema, qui sotto vi proponiamo due tra le nostre canzoni preferite del loro repertorio.
ICE FASHION: Come vi siete conosciuti? Quali sono le origini della band?
HAMISH FINGLAND: Ci siamo conosciuti tramite amici, e ci siamo resi conto di avere la stessa passione, fare musica. Così nel 2009 sono nati i Kassidy.
IF: Parlaci riguardo le vostre influenze
HF: E' difficile trovare un'influenza generale tenendo conto che ogni membro della band è cantautore. Tuttavia, se dovessi parlare delle mie influenze, mi vengono in mente: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Chic, Joe Cocker, Wu Tang Clan.
IF: Cosa pensate dell'Italia? VI state divertendo? Sappiamo che prima di venire a Milano, eravate a Roma e a Torino, che cosa avete fatto?
HF: Ci stiamo divertendo molto! Siamo stati a Torino a visitare il Museo Egizio e a Roma a vedere il Vaticano e il Colosseo. L'Italia è bellissima e ci sono dei posti bellissimi.
IF: Se potreste scegliere, con chi vi
piacerebbe collaborare in futuro?
HF: Ci sono svariati gruppi e persone
con cui ci piacerebbe lavorare, forse, uno su tutti i Daft Punk.
IF: Com'è lavorare con Lana Del Rey?
HF: Siamo amici di Lana da prima che
lei diventasse un volto noto, e nonostante sia diventata famosa,
rimane comunque la nostra solita amica di sempre. Ad ogni singolo
Show che apriamo, lei senza farsi vedere si mette a vedere tutto il
nostro Live, il che è incredibile perché deve prepararsi per il suo
di Spettacolo.

We met the Kassidy in Milan during the tour of Lana Del Rey for which they are the opening act. Together with Hamish Fingland (vocals, guitar) we talked about the origins of the band, music, Lana Del Rey and Italy. You were not at the shows that the American singer done in Italy and you don't know who they are? No problem, we propose below two of our favorite songs from them.
ICE FASHION: How did you meet eachother? How was this band born?
HAMISH FINGLAND: We met through friends, and we realized that we have the same passion, making music. So in the 2009 the Kassidy are born.
IF: Tell us about your influences?
HF: It's hard to find an influence for all the group, because each member of the band is singer-songwriter. However, if I had to talk about my influences are: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Chic, Joe Cocker, Wu Tang Clan.
IF: Do you like Italy? What have you done in Rome and Turin?
HF: We're having so much fun! We went to visit the Turin's Egyptian Museum and in Rome we went to see the Vatican and the Colosseum. Italy is so beautiful and there are some very beautiful places.
IF: If you could choose, who would like to collaborate with in the future?
HF: There are several groups with we would like to work with, perhaps, maybe the Daft Punk are the good ones.
IF: How is working with Lana?
HF: We are friends of Lana from before she Became famous, and it remains our usual everyday friend. For each show that we open, she came backstage to see all of the show, which is amazing because she has to prepare for her show.
