In edicola di tutta Italia da domani (ci trovate a pagina 124) promettiamo di mantenere l'essenza del Blog anche su carta cercando di parlare di argomenti sempre coinvolgenti, freschi e interessanti, così come cerchiamo di fare con Ice Fashion. Nel numero di Ottobre potrete trovare una nostra presentazione decorata dalle foto realizzate per l'occasione dal nostro Alessandro Levati. Siamo già a lavoro con la redazione del Magazine per il numero di Novembre che sarà piuttosto interessante. Il giornale potete trovarlo in qualsiasi edicola Italiana e in edicole estere selezionate. After keeping the news secret for 3 months, we can officially say that Ice Fashion will have their own space in the magazine's most widely read by the man in the whole world, MAXIM (Italy)
On newsstands all over Italy from tomorrow (we're on page 124) we promise to keep the essence of the Blog on paper even trying to talk about topics that are increasingly fresh and interesting, as well as we trying to do with Ice Fashion. In the October issue you will find a presentation of us up for the occasion from the photos taken by our Alessandro Levati. We are already working on the preparation of the magazine for the November issue, which will be very interesting. The paper can be found at any newsstand in Italy and selected newsstands around the world. See you on paper!
Abbiamo incontrato i Kassidy a Milano in occasione del tour di Lana Del Rey per il quale sono opening act. Insieme ad Hamish Fingland (voce, chitarra) abbiamo parlato delle origini del gruppo, di musica, di Lana Del Rey e dell'Italia. Non eravate ai concerti che la cantante Americana ha tenuto in Italia e non conoscete i Kassidy? Nessun problema, qui sotto vi proponiamo due tra le nostre canzoni preferite del loro repertorio.
ICE FASHION: Come vi siete conosciuti? Quali sono le origini della band?
HAMISH FINGLAND: Ci siamo conosciuti tramite amici, e ci siamo resi conto di avere la stessa passione, fare musica. Così nel 2009 sono nati i Kassidy.
IF: Parlaci riguardo le vostre influenze
HF: E' difficile trovare un'influenza generale tenendo conto che ogni membro della band è cantautore. Tuttavia, se dovessi parlare delle mie influenze, mi vengono in mente: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Chic, Joe Cocker, Wu Tang Clan.
IF: Cosa pensate dell'Italia? VI state divertendo? Sappiamo che prima di venire a Milano, eravate a Roma e a Torino, che cosa avete fatto?
HF: Ci stiamo divertendo molto! Siamo stati a Torino a visitare il Museo Egizio e a Roma a vedere il Vaticano e il Colosseo. L'Italia è bellissima e ci sono dei posti bellissimi.
IF: Se potreste scegliere, con chi vi
piacerebbe collaborare in futuro?
HF: Ci sono svariati gruppi e persone
con cui ci piacerebbe lavorare, forse, uno su tutti i Daft Punk.
IF: Com'è lavorare con Lana Del Rey?
HF: Siamo amici di Lana da prima che
lei diventasse un volto noto, e nonostante sia diventata famosa,
rimane comunque la nostra solita amica di sempre. Ad ogni singolo
Show che apriamo, lei senza farsi vedere si mette a vedere tutto il
nostro Live, il che è incredibile perché deve prepararsi per il suo
di Spettacolo.

We met the Kassidy in Milan during the tour of Lana Del Rey for which they are the opening act. Together with Hamish Fingland (vocals, guitar) we talked about the origins of the band, music, Lana Del Rey and Italy. You were not at the shows that the American singer done in Italy and you don't know who they are? No problem, we propose below two of our favorite songs from them.
ICE FASHION: How did you meet eachother? How was this band born?
HAMISH FINGLAND: We met through friends, and we realized that we have the same passion, making music. So in the 2009 the Kassidy are born.
IF: Tell us about your influences?
HF: It's hard to find an influence for all the group, because each member of the band is singer-songwriter. However, if I had to talk about my influences are: Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Chic, Joe Cocker, Wu Tang Clan.
IF: Do you like Italy? What have you done in Rome and Turin?
HF: We're having so much fun! We went to visit the Turin's Egyptian Museum and in Rome we went to see the Vatican and the Colosseum. Italy is so beautiful and there are some very beautiful places.
IF: If you could choose, who would like to collaborate with in the future?
HF: There are several groups with we would like to work with, perhaps, maybe the Daft Punk are the good ones.
IF: How is working with Lana?
HF: We are friends of Lana from before she Became famous, and it remains our usual everyday friend. For each show that we open, she came backstage to see all of the show, which is amazing because she has to prepare for her show.
E' iniziato ieri a Milano il nuovo Tour dei OneRepublic per il loro nuovo album Native. Decisione di cuore quella del gruppo Americano in quanto, come dichiarato ripetutamente durante il concerto dal Leader Ryan Tedder, sono molto affezionati al bel paese.
Impianto audio e luci da far invidia ai più veterani del mestiere, il concerto si apre con l'elettrizzante Light It Up, seguita poi da successi come All The Right Moves, Good Life o l'immancabile e malinconica Apologize prodotta con Timbaland.
La grande sorpresa è stata trovare cover come We Found Love, Seven Nation Army, Suit & Tie e Sexy Back riadattate dalla band Americana per renderle ancora più magiche.
Molto acclamati, sono tornati sul palco per l'ultima parte del Live, che si è chiuso con Marchin On. Il tour andrà avanti per tutto il mese coprendo molte città Europee. A Novembre saranno di nuovo in Italia, come ha dichiarato il cantante, e siamo sicuri che ancora una volta, faranno strage di applausi.
It began yesterday in Milan the new OneRepublic Tour for their new album Native. With a Sound and lighting really amazing, the concert opens with the thrilling Light It Up, followed by hits like All The Right Moves, Good Life or the inevitable melancholy Apologize.
The big surprise was to find cover as We Found Love, Seven Nation Army, Suit & Tie and Sexy Back adapted from the American band to make them even more magical.
The Show ended with Marchin On, and the tour will continue throughout the month going to many European cities.
In November they will be back in Italy, as stated by the singer, and we are sure that once again, they will smash all!
